Whole Body Osteopathy Millbrook is located within the Millbrook Works business units in the centre of Millbrook village on the Rame Peninsula, South East Cornwall.
The clinic is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays for our full range of osteopathic services including back pain, neck pain, sports injury and any other musculoskeletal issues.
Booking is easy with our online system and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Millbrook is located on the Rame Peninsula in the South Eastern tip of Cornwall. From the A38, at the Trerulefoot roundabout (located equidistant between Liskeard and Saltash) turn South onto the A374 towards Torpoint. After 4 miles, turn right onto the B3247 towards Millbrook and stay on the B3247 until you reach Millbrook village.
Once in Millbrook, continue down the hill, through a narrow section of road and around a sharp right-hand bend. Once around the bend, you will see a sign for Millbrook Car Park on the left hand side. Please park in this car park (this is paid parking).
To get to the clinic from the car park, walk along the path which runs beside the play park. You will see the single storey white Millbrook Works building at the end of this path, which is where the clinic is located. Walk through the gate onto the veranda (there is a small step down) and the clinic can be found at the far end of the building in Unit 6.
Please note- sometimes appointments can run over by a few minutes, therefore please ensure you allow enough contingency time after your appointment to get back to your vehicle before your parking runs out. We cannot be held responsible for any parking fines incurred.
If you are walking, you can also access the clinic from the opposite end of the Millbrook Works building, which is off Millpool Head. Access from this side is located behind the Devon and Cornwall Pub, opposite the Tanyard (the rockery area with seating). The single storey white building is set back from the road and is clearly marked ‘Millbrook Works’. The clinic is in Unit 6 of this building, which is the second door on the left as you walk onto the veranda.
*If mobility is an issue and you are being dropped off at the clinic, the easiest access is from the Millpool Head side. Please take care when crossing the road here, as there is a blind bend in the road.
Because we don’t have a full time receptionist, we ask all patients when they arrive to take a seat in the waiting room. If the treatment room door is closed, it is likely that a treatment is in progress. Please therefore kindly take a seat and your osteopath will come to greet you at your appointment time. Magazines and information leaflets are available for you to read while you wait.
We have toilet facilities available to patients next door. The toilets are kept locked, therefore please ask for a key if you wish to use the facilities.
We regret that although we have wheelchair access into the building, due to the width of the door into the treatment room, we cannot bring a wheelchair in beyond the waiting area.
If you have any disability needs, please mention this when booking your appointment and we will be very happy to help in any way we can.
Yvonne Cosbie (Principal Osteopath)
We are currently a part time clinic due to Yvonne sharing her time between multiple locations. Our current opening hours are therefore as follows:
Tuesdays 1pm – 6pm
Thursdays 8.30am – 1pm
We can take both debit and credit cards or cash, however we regret that we cannot accept cheques. We ask for payment to be completed at the time of your treatment and can email you a receipt as proof of payment.
Please note if you have private health insurance, we ask that you pay for your treatment on the day and then contact your provider to be reimbursed for your treatment. A receipt can be emailed to you for this purpose.
If you have a private health insurance, please notify your provider BEFORE you book in for treatment with us. Most healthcare providers will accept treatment from any registered osteopath, however some stipulate that you must choose from a specific list of practitioners (e.g. BUPA).
We have a Facebook page for our Millbrook clinic. Please click on the following link to join us and get FREE advice, videos and information relating to common medical conditions and about how osteopathy can help.
